Nestled in the quiet town of Florence, Mississippi, stands an unassuming home that has captivated paranormal investigators and documentary filmmakers alike. This house, known as "The House in Between," gained national attention through the 2020 documentary of the same name. It tells the chilling and fascinating story of homeowner Alice Jackson and her decades-long struggle with unexplained phenomena within her residence. Our paranormal investigation team had the incredible opportunity to conduct an investigation at this legendary location, and what we experienced was nothing short of eerie.

History

Alice Jackson purchased the house in the early 1990s, excited to make it her home. However, around 2011, she began to notice strange occurrences that she couldn't explain—mysterious lights, unexplainable knocks and sounds, and an overall feeling of an unseen presence. The activity escalated to the point where Alice became uneasy about living in the house full-time.

The house drew attention from paranormal investigators, including Brad Cooney and renowned figures such as Steve Gonsalves, who dedicated years to studying the phenomenon. The documentary "The House in Between" chronicled their investigations, shedding light on the mysterious energy surrounding the property. One of the most famous pieces of evidence captured in the home is a ball that appears to move on its own—a phenomenon that has been witnessed multiple times and remains unexplained.

Spirits of the house

The spirits believed to haunt "The House in Between" remain largely unidentified, adding to the mystery. Investigators speculate that the activity may be linked to a former resident or someone with a connection to the land. EVPs and other evidence suggest the presence of an intelligent entity capable of responding to questions and interacting with objects—most notably, the mysterious movement of the ball.

Throughout the night, we encountered a range of unexplainable phenomena. Shadow figures darted across the hallways, and we heard distinct knocking sounds, a mysterious whistle, and disembodied voices. We also captured EVP’s, electronic voice phenomena, on our recorders.
